What We Do


Red Clay is an Atlanta-based leading consultancy for the utility industry, delivering technical and business solutions on customer information systems, customer experience, meter data management systems, mobile field applications, complex commercial and industrial billing solutions, load profiling and settlement, and security solutions.


We install and configure software solutions for utilities. We also advise utilities on various projects, teach them how to use their new software systems, and sometimes we maintain their software systems for them. It’s all part of a technological revolution that’s happening in the utilities industry. Utilities now have smart meters, which can send them data every few minutes on how much water/electricity/gas is being consumed by their customers. They need a handful of different software systems to help them crunch this data and use it for things like billing their customers, reducing consumption, and reliably providing service to their customers. We help them do all of this.
